Attorney Alin D. Cintean is a former prosecutor who dedicates his practice to criminal defense. He is admitted to practice in both, California’s state courts as well as Federal Courts. Attorney Alin D. Cintean is dedicated to helping people accused of white collar as well as violent crime charges.
Mr. Cintean is also a professor of Constitutional Law at a Northern California Law School. As a professor, he keeps abreast of the latest developments in the law and how it affects clients accused of crimes.
As a former prosecutor attorney Alin D. Cintean prosecuted a large number of misdemeanor and felony cases. He successfully prosecuted several “life” cases including three strikes and cases involving violent charges. Attorney Cintean also handled white collar cases including accusations of financial fraud, computer crimes and identity theft.
As a defense attorney, Mr. Cintean singlehandedly handled the largest identity case ever filed in Northern California involving over 29,000 named victims.
Attorney Alin Cintean earned a BS degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in German from the California State University at Sacramento. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where he placed on the Dean’s Honor List and also earned a Certificate of Advocacy.
Knowing a prosecutor’s mindset allows Mr. Cintean to thoroughly prepare his cases for trial. He builds great rapport with juries and is known to be very effective in trial.
