Federal Video Voyeurism Charges Dismissed
Client, a professional, was cited for the crime of video voyeurism, a federal charge that carries mandatory federal sex offender registration. State and Federal Marijuana Cultivation and Gun Charges Dismissed
Client was arrested and accused of cultivating a large number of Marijuana plants. Client was also charged with an arming enhancement. The original charges were brought by the state however the federal prosecutors quickly moved in and brought federal marijuana charges with federal arming enhancements. Client was facing a mandatory minimum federal sentence of five years and a maximum of forty years. Nursing License Saved
Client received a Letter of Accusation from the California Nursing Board seeking to suspend the Client’s license for a second DUI conviction. Vehicle Theft Case – Dismissed
Client was charged with felony car theft after holding on to a rental vehicle longer than the rental agency claimed the contracted allowed for. Second DUI Case – Community Service
Client was charged with second DUI. The Client had a prior DUI conviction within the last ten years. In the current case client also had a high blood alcohol allegation. A high blood alcohol allegation is charged any time a defendant’s blood alcohol level is .15 percent or greater and can carry additional penalties such as a prolonged DUI program and longer jail sentences.
